The Washington County Board of Education approved a increase in the cost for the School Age Child Care program.

Program for Before and After Elementary School An elementary school before-school and/or an after-school child care program for the Great Neck Public Schools was proposed at the Feb. 8 Board of Education public action meeting. The program, which would be run by SCOPE, would be run at no cost to the school district; parents who choose to enroll their children will pay.

A comprehensive special education program comprising the full continuum of special education programs and services is available to every student who resides in Tewksbury who meets eligibility criteria as a child in need of special education.

A new system will rate child care providers on a five-star scale, and the best providers will receive the most state funding.
