Board of Education adds uniforms to agenda

STAMFORD — The Board of Education will discuss implementing school uniforms at its working board meeting on Sept. 7. The item was added to the policy committee’s agenda for the meeting by Board President Jackie Heftman at the end of Tuesday night’s regular meeting, during which three community members addressed the board in support of and against uniforms.
