California education officials have identified dozens of low-performing public schools that need to adopt major reforms or close entirely. The state Department of Education on released a preliminary of 188 of the state’s “persistently lowest-achieving schools.”
The private program’s curriculum is based on the Academic Content Standards for kindergarten through 12th grades in the areas of English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies that have been adopted by the Ohio State Board of Education.
