Accra, July 12, GNA – The Reverend Mrs Jemima Amanor, Country Director of Compassion International Ghana (CIG), has observed that child neglect is the biggest crisis facing the world. “It is even worse than terrorism, weapons of mass destruction and climate change”, she stated.

Grassroot Soccer targets HIV education in South Africa

The cones represent HIV-related risks, like multiple partners or drug abuse. This activity teaches a person’s behavior has consequences that can affect those around him.

One goal education

We’ve spoken often about the Millennium Development Goals, the eight international development goals that all 192 United Nations member states have agreed to achieve by 2015. They include reducing extreme poverty, reducing child mortality rates and fighting disease epidemics such as AIDS. But perhaps the lynchpin goal is that of universal primary education.
